To maintain the fire integrity of a building every opening, penetration, wall and floor joint must be sealed against the escape of smoke and fire. EFire offer a range of passive fire seals, barriers, pillows and fire curtains to maintain the specified level of fire performance in accordance with the Building Regulations approved document B (2000).
The aim of passive fire protection products is to enhance life safety in conjunction with other fire protection systems, to contain the spread of smoke, flame and heat and, to maintain the structural integrity of the building or fire compartment for a safe means of escape.
